As of July 1st, 2022 our Mindfulness E-Course will be available on the teaching platform Thinkific!
This is a curriculum based in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): it is a self-paced, cost-effective alternative to taking one of our weekly 8-week DBT live classes, or functions as a stand-alone teaching on mindfulness for anyone interested in deeply understanding and applying this wonderful, helpful tradition to their everyday lives.
The e-course is taught by Sarah McKelvey, MA, LPC through engaging and comprehensive videos and other additional resources (handouts, assessments, digital resources). It will likely also feature access to a live Q&A virtual session, where students can ask the teacher personal, relevant questions based on their learning.

In this course you will learn about:
* mindfulness, or the capacity to be present, alert, calm,
and receptive to all kinds of experiences, non-judgmentally, and non-reactively,
* how to diminish preoccupation with pain, fear, and excessive negativity, and redirect your focus constructively,
*how to think, act, and process information dialectically, or, in other words, in a balanced, effective way rather than in extremes and rigid, black-and-white thinking.
