Jean believes that having a fulfilling career is one of the most important milestones one may experience over the course of a lifetime. Her goal is to help people discover their unique talents and slay their inner critic such that they may find themselves in a more gratifying career. Decades of career progress spanning corporate and small business settings reinforced her passion for career development and its intersection with mental health. Through empathic support and creative visioning, as well as employing concrete tools and resources acquired in her training as a Career Counselor, Jean assists clients who are at a crossroads in their career development journey. She recognizes and responds to the way that mental health impacts our career journey and that our career journey in turn impacts our wellbeing and mental health. She developed CareerSketch Journey in collaboration with Center for Higher Consciousness in 2021-2022, a structured career counseling program featuring 20 distinct career development modules.
Jean received a B.A. in Applied Sociology with a minor in Legal Studies. She also completed a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology and Counselor Education, along with additional training leading to the credentials Certified Career Counselor (CCC) and Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS-II). Her combined education and experience lends itself toward helping clients thrive mentally and behaviorally in their pursuit of career success and fulfillment.
